PodWarden MCP Server Is Now Generally Available

PodWarden Team

The Model Context Protocol server for PodWarden reaches GA, enabling AI assistants to inspect cluster state, deploy workloads, and query the catalog through a structured tool surface.

PodWarden MCP Server Is Now Generally Available

The PodWarden MCP server lets any MCP-compatible AI client interact with your clusters through a stable, audited tool surface.

What You Can Do

  • List and inspect clusters — query node status, workload health, and resource usage
  • Deploy catalog apps — install any catalog entry with a single tool call
  • Search the catalog — fuzzy-search across app names, descriptions, and tags

Security Model

Every tool call is gated by the caller's RBAC role. Read-only tokens can list and query; CLUSTER:WRITE is required for deploy and delete actions. All calls are logged to the admin audit trail.

Getting Started

Enable the MCP server from Admin > Settings > MCP, then connect your AI client to your hub MCP endpoint.
